Pingan Dance is a traditional dance originating from West Kalimantan. This dance is a dance of entertainment for the people. The word pingan in Dayak Mualang means a plate made of stone or from clay. As the name implies, this dance uses a plate as an attribute in dancing. This dance is originally a traditional dance that is presented to entertain the community in every traditional event such as gifts, weddings, and others.
