Lake Singkarak is a lake that stretches across two districts in the province of West Sumatra, Indonesia, are the district of Solok and Tanah Datar regency located close to the lake singkarak. This singkarak lake has an area of 107.8 km² and this singkarak lake is the 2nd largest lake on the island of Sumatra. This singkarak lake is upstream of Batang Ombilin. This singkarak lake is part of the Singkarak Lake Basin to Solok which also includes a segment of a Sumatran Fault.
